So, I got a Floppy Emulator recently. But rather annoyingly, the (very short) floppy cable in the ST is practically soldered to the motherboard instead of having a connector like every other system ever.
You could technically change the cable by removing it from the pins it goes through, cutting off the end of a cable and putting it through the pins. But this is far from ideal.
So I bought a 34 pin floppy connector:
Soldered it to the board:
Connected up the Floppy Emulator. The only spare cables I have are actually a bit too long, but it's a lot better now.
